In this lovely 5 minute clip from an interview, Mooji explains that we need suffering and fear to propel us to take action towards our spiritual evolution. The mind is not needed for the activities of life to take place, only for practical purposes.  If you don’t believe it, then put it to the test and see what happens.
In this video Mooji explains that truly being free is not based on any belief. Freedom comes from being able to answer the question “Is there anything that stops me from being what I am?”.  Through the process of self-mastery, one can examine the thoughts, beliefs and situations that keep us from truly being free.

In this short 5 minute video, Mooji explains that when seeking the “Truth” there is really no need to even ask a question from the “Person” because at its root the question comes from a falsehood. As Mooji says “To get a “True” answer, one needs to start with a “True” question.”
For many, diving into the unknown can seem like a scary proposition. Mooji explains that once we realize that we ARE the unknown, certain apprehensions may still appear but they can easily be dismissed as part of natural process of letting go of our false sense of self.
Many of us feel that somehow we need to loose something to find freedom.  Mooji explains that there is no need to loose anything because you are already liberated.  Only the mind creates imaginations making us feel as though we are not.

In this 9 minute video filmed on one of Mooji’s walks in Portugal, Mooji explains that the mind is also an aspect of the self. He goes on to explain that in the beginning the mind is necessary to grow into a place where it is no longer necessary and takes a back seat to the “Self”. There is never any need to try to get rid of the mind. Once the “Self” is realized, the mind goes into a “background” mode without effort and is there to serve for practical purposes.
