Thank you for your powerful message, Mooji!
Being somebody is something I was taught to aspire for and have discovered can never be fulfilling.
Now I see that being nobody is being everything

Yes, relaxing into the “I do not know-mind” and being nobody.
With open heart and open mind.

To understand the state of Nobody , meaning the SELF , Consciouness , Truth , ( all mean the same ) , that state has to be described and understood fully ..
Was the questioner ever explained this state , and the steps leading to it .. it’s not something that happens overnight .. lifetimes of conditioning have to be overcome .. Maya .. not easy .. in a spiritual atmosphere / camp , easy for your duration there , since that is the environment and talk all the time , but what happens when you go into the real world , you need to , to earn a living .. to pay rent , food etc ,
There are guided steps in our Hindu scriptures , karma yoga , etc , the Bhagvad Geeta , that guide you how to live your life , with the right attitude , so that in deep meditation , your experience the Blissful Self .,
Masters like Ramana Maharishi , Buddha etc , after studying and understanding the Upanishads and other Sared Indian texts , attained that state ..
There are no shortcuts .. only by understanding , can you climb the spiritual ladder .. This is like telling a 7 year old child , who just about understands the English language , with its grammar , the beauty , and subtle meaning of Shakespeare , , and expecting him to grasp it ..
Many use spirituality as a form of escapism from life ..abandoning all their responsibilities to themselves , their family , their parents , sad but true , and end up frustrated.. , which is natural ,, because they have been shown a beautiful paradise , but not given the complete understanding , road map , of how to get there .. and are frustrated , saddened , when they can’t get there , or , be in that state permanently , as did Buddha , Ramana Maharishi , and a host of other saints ..
I hope the questioner went back to living a normal life ,.. and found happiness in it , while simaltaneously studying a religious text , be it our Hindu texts , or the Bible , or whichever faith he was from ..
Spiritualty is a gradual unfoldment , like a bud , gradually blooms into a flower , watered by the knowledge imparted by the scriptural texts , by a Guru , Priest , Rabbi .. etc
The student understands the texts , reflects upon the Truths mentioned in them , applies them in his Daily life , and slowly the Transformation starts to happen ..
Till one day , in deep meditation , he intuitively experiences the Self ..
There are no shortcuts .. please understand , and take responsibility for your life , and work ..
Choose the work , suited to your temperament , ( we all have different temperaments eg , dr , sportsperson , musician , etc ) and through your work , you will be able to work out your Vasanas , (desires ) , one of the reasons for your birth , ( the other being your Karmas ) .
Then when you sit in meditation , your Vasanas will not keep arising in your mind so often , they will become lesser in quantity , with the passage of time , if you have worked with the spirit of Karma Yoga ( another topic ) and you will finally , intuitively , experience the Self , the Bliss .. , which will come and go initially .. till finally , you will be able to be permanently in that state , like Ramana Maharishi ..
